Read the competition rulesFrequently asked questions
Do I have to post to enter?+
No. You can enter the free prize draw without posting or purchasing anything. Leave the post link blank and submit the form. To compete for the $100 gift card or earn the 100-coin bonus, submit an eligible public post.
Which hashtags do I need?+
Include both #afroshorts and #LoveLiesAndPower in every submitted post's caption. Posts with only one hashtag do not qualify.
Can I submit more than one post?+
Yes. Submit each original post link separately using the same email address. Verified organic views across your approved posts count toward the gift card. You still receive only one prize draw entry and one first-post bonus.
How are views verified?+
The AfroShorts team manually reviews public posts and their organic view counts. Keep your posts public through the final review. Paid, purchased, bot-generated or otherwise artificial views do not count. There is no live leaderboard; results will be shared after the competition closes.
When does the competition close?+
Posts and entries must be received by November 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST (UTC-8). Winners will be contacted at their entry email after review.
